THE JOURNEY OF THE FOUNDERS
Stephen Franklyn Kasozi & Sarah Kagwala Kasozi
Pr. Franklyn Stephen Kasozi is an only son to his father, he recounts of not having spent even a week with his father. He was raised by his mother and maternal grandmother that is why he grew up determined to become a better parent and influence better parenting in Uganda. He knew that he had a calling to support abused, abandoned and neglected children who have experienced a similar plight.
Sarah Kwagala Kasozi on the other hand was raised in extended and blended family settings. At the age of 13, she lost her biological mother and experienced much emotional abuse, escaped sexual abuse and determined to work hard and advocate for child rights. She is a renowned child rights activist and a child protection expert with special skills in family strengthening.
They thank God for having brought them together in marriage in 2007 believing that God called them into ministry together to serve children, young people and their families. They have gathered training and experience in areas of child protection and family strengthening. This passion has seen them mentor and inspire many people in Uganda. They choose to serve as a couple, reaching out to communities and changing many lives. Together they have experienced several victories and challenges and they keep celebrating them with gratefulness.
